In BeTween: Ministering to Preteen’s Where They Are- Melissa Love
Preteens, also known as, Tweens get a “bad rap” for being difficult to work with. They are in an awkward "stage of development that has implications on their emotional, psychological, and physical states. This stage of development that has implications on their emotional, psychological, and physical states. This
breakout will conduct a high overview of these developmental changes and help ministry leaders
understand how they can better relate to and support preteens and their parents."

Bio: Melissa Love is the 5/6 Grade Minister at Crosspoint Church in Niceville, FL. Before her current role, she served as an administrative assistant and lead volunteer in the Children's and Youth Ministry for various churches and ministry organizations. Melissa is a proud military spouse. Her husband, Antonio serves in the United States Air Force. Antonio and Melissa have six children together ranging from 21 years old to 7 years old. They enjoy new adventures and making memories together. Melissa is currently pursuing a Master’s of Arts in Spiritual Formation at Asbury Theological Seminary.
