Helping Children and Teens With ADHD to Grow Spiritually - Steve Grcevich #26115

ADHD is the most common mental health condition among school-age children. In this breakout, attendees will consider how executive functioning deficits underlying ADHD impact participation in worship services, Christian education, and other church activities. Participants will identify common pitfalls to spiritual development in youth with ADHD, explore useful strategies for creating children’s ministry environments that promote learning and self-control, and acquire practical ideas for partnering with parents of kids with ADHD to promote spiritual growth.
