Mike has been a Kid’s Pastor in the local church for over 35 years. From 1993 to 2018, he served as the Executive Pastor of Children's Ministry at Fellowship Church in Grapevine, Texas, where he also led a team in creating and developing the Elevate Curriculum line, used by over 10,000 churches around the country and the world. Mike is currently serving as Executive and Teaching Pastor at Argyle Community Church in his hometown of Argyle, Texas.  He has been married to his wife, Karry, for 35 years, and they have two married daughters, Kaitlynn and Annie, both of whom serve in the local church.

Mike has a Master's in Biblical Studies and a Master's in Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary. He is passionate about discipling kids and leaders in the local church, sculpting & building in his workshop and anything creative that furthers God’s plan for the Kingdom.
