Our current culture (US) currently recognizes 76 different types of sexuality with six different forms of attraction and many more niche and specific identities being carved out. Learning how to navigate this reality as a Children’s Ministry leader starts with gaining an awareness of the common terms and language associated with these identities. In the third session of this course, grow in your knowledge of LGBTQ+ terms and language. This knowledge ultimately becomes the basis for productive conversations that lead to effective ministry to families dealing with the complexities of gender identity.
