Helping Kids With ADHD to Grow Spiritually - Dr. Steve Grcevich - Media # 24603
ADHD is the most common mental health disorder among school-age children in the U.S. In this breakout Dr. Grcevich will discuss the differences in brain functioning seen in persons with ADHD and outline how the condition impacts participation in worship services, Christian education and other common church activities. Attendees will identify common pitfalls to spiritual development in children with ADHD, identify useful strategies for including them into children’s ministry programming and acquire practical ideas to share with family members seeking to promote spiritual growth in their child.
