Time for the Talk Equipping Parents for Sex Education-Dr. Denise Muir Kjesbo and Donna Sugano 22705

Teaching their children about sex can leave parents feeling ill-equipped, inadequate, and unsure. Fighting our culture’s messages on sexuality makes the job of sex education even more difficult and all the more crucial. This breakout will help provide an overall vision for parents to help them have an end goal in mind for each age and stage of development as well as practical ideas and resources for them to utilize. Rather than simply providing children with a list of dos and don’ts, we are instead guiding them into healthy and God-honoring patterns of living and being. This approach to sex education covers far more than sex and helps children think through how to treat others and themselves with a Biblical ethic from the preschool years all the way through high school.
