Every year that you serve is another year that you grow and develop as a leader. Pause and consider which leaders have influenced you and your journey and then consider what rising leaders you know who might grow and learn from you. Mentoring rising leaders is an essential part of discipleship. Forming friendships that allow for honest dialogue and feedback creates a safe space for young leaders to wrestle with hard questions, learn from your experiences, and give you a glimpse into their gifts as a leader. In this session, we will look at healthy ways to mentor rising leaders.
