Most of us are serving on a church staff that includes both men and women. Much has been said about accepting women’s voices around the leadership table. But, ideally, we must move past mere acceptance and towards mutuality. Let’s explore what an environment of mutuality looks like from the unique perspectives of both genders, and discover practical next steps to move from acceptance to mutuality

Speakers: Brooke Palmer & Jeff Weldon

Bio: Brooke Palmer is a graduate of Bethel Seminary with a Master of Arts in Ministry. She currently serves as an Associate Pastor at Journey's Crossing Church in Germantown, MD, and served in ministry to children for 14 years with her husband Jeff Weldon who is a Kids' Pastor, and another Bethel Seminary grad. Brooke is the mom of five children and lives in Clarksburg, MD, a suburb of Washington D.C.

Bio: Jeff has served & led in children’s ministry since 2006, and holds a Masters in Children's & Family Ministry from Bethel Seminary. He is married to Brooke, and the two have 5 children together. Jeff loves Detroit sports teams & nerdy board games.
