Through the Fire: Pastoring Kids Through Change- Darnisha Thomas

This session covers how pastors and leaders minister to children and families during tumultuous times through assessing, acknowledging, and assuring our children and their emotions. We will also briefly discuss what the Bible says about getting through the painful times.

Speaker: Darnisha Thomas

Bio: Darnisha Thomas serves that the associate pastor focusing on children, youth, and families at the Southview Seventh-day Adventist Church. She also serves as the children’s ministries director for the Minnesota Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Darnisha began her journey in children's ministries at the tender age of 11 as a Vacation Bible School junior group leader. She has a passion for equipping and empowering children and their families to say "Yes" to Jesus.
