Preteen Mental Health- Paula Mazza

NAMI reports that 50% of people with mental illness begin showing symptoms before the age of 14 but the average delay of treatment is a decade. This breakout helps ministry leaders understand the formative nature of preteen years and the opportunity they have to better serve families in their church with preteens whose emotional and mental wellness is at risk.

Bio: I am married with four adult children. I completed my M.A. in Family Ministry (Bethel Seminary) and teach the preteen segments of the Engage certificate program.
