Bullies Come to Church, Too!- Cheryl Smith-Debanné

This workshop will address the issue of bullying and how children's ministry leaders can identify it and deal with it in their ministries. It will provide the most current definitions and means of addressing bullying with all those involved, the bully, the target, the bystanders, and all the parents involved.

Bio; I also work full-time for the Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board as a Grief Counselor and Spiritual Community Animator. I work in elementary schools helping children develop character skills and deal with social issues such as bullying and anxiety. For the past 10 years, I have also been the Children's Ministry Resource Director for the CMA in Quebec, serving our network of churches in both French and English
